SIEX-HC™ 125

SIEX-HC™ 125
SIEX-HC™ 125

SIEX-HC™ 125 requires a smaller amount of extinguishing agent. It is one of the most efficient, cleanest and most cost-effective agents, ensuring a quick and effective discharge. Usage experience indicates that it is suitable for major hazards such as those in the aerospace industry, where space constraints are critical. It is also required when the protected hazard is at risk of explosions.

Like all SIEX-HC™ systems, it works by total flooding, extinguishing in a maximum of 10 seconds. Recommended for class A, B and C hazards. Its design concentrations make it suitable for unoccupied spaces. The system may be used in staff access areas, but always with a series of security measures for evacuating the room before discharge.

SIEX-HC™ 125 at 25 (360psi) and 42 bar (610psi).

It is stored pressurized with dry nitrogen, providing various pressures depending on the hazard requirement. SIEX-HC™ 125 operates at 25 bar (low pressure) and 42 bar (high pressure). The different working pressures offer varying installation properties, thus covering a great variety of hazards. It is valid for use with selector valves. Each of the components has the prestigious, internationally recognized VdS approval.

Our expert designers and engineers, who use the most advanced hydraulic calculation programs (SIEX-HC™ 125 system proprietary software), offer advice on each individual project, always providing the solution that best suits each specific need. SIEX-HC™ 125 meets ISO 14520, UNE 15004-4 and NFPA 2001 standards, on which these system calculation requirements are based.

SIEX-HC™ 125
About the extinguishing agent

It is a clean, colorless, odorless, non-conductive chemical gas. It is stored in liquid phase thus requiring reduced storage space and its conversions to vapor easily occurs in the pipe work once the bottle has been released.

With regards to its activation procedure, the HFC-125 system features a high cooling power. It suppresses fire by physical and chemical means, weakening the flame by heat absorption until the fire disappears.
