Hospitals
Fire protection in hospitals poses a major challenge due to the many different areas in these vast complexes: operating rooms, nurses’ stations, technical rooms, bedrooms, kitchens, among others.
There are also easily ignitable materials in laboratories, laundry rooms and pharmacies, and high-risk elements such as electronic equipment and air conditioning units.
All these factors pose a fire hazard and must be properly controlled to ensure the protection of personnel in these facilities where patients can cause serious problems for evacuation.
