Service Stations

Service Stations

The hazards associated with fuel supply services must be considered very carefully. The great variety in petrol station sizes and the various services they offer combine multiple hazards. The most common ones are those related to spills occurring during fuel pumping, especially at self-service pumps.

Fixed firefighting systems must respond quickly, preventing the spread of fire and the risk of explosion. Fire precautions in these facilities are wide-ranging, from those related to fuel tanks and pumps to recommendations targeted to users. PCI systems are installed to increase the overall safety of these enclosures.
